Fayetteville, Georgia (July 2, 2020) – The Georgia Media Academy and the Media Kids Foundation, Inc. located at 388 Glynn Street N in Fayetteville officially cut the ribbon on their headquarters on Saturday, June 27, 2020. The celebration was originally scheduled for March 2020 but due to COVID-19, was postponed due to safety concerns.

The Georgia Media Academy is a Career and Professional Development Academy founded in 2019 by GlenNeta Griffin, a 22+year media industry veteran. The academy was created to help others build professional careers in media by connecting them with working media professionals. Their mission is to prepare aspiring talent for tomorrow’s media landscape by offering professional training in all things media. Their goal is to bridge the gap through education for minorities to increase diversity and inclusion across all media platforms.

The Georgia Media Academy specializes in training for Communications, Entertainment, Film, Government, Radio, Television and Writing. Although based in Georgia, their team has worked with Authors, Business Owners, Corporations, Guest Experts, Politicians, and Spokespersons from all over the world. They offer professional training in all things media, including classes, seminars, panel discussions and workshops featuring working professionals in the Media Industry. Class sizes are kept to a minimum so that instructors have more time to work with all attendees.

The Media Kids Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization, also founded by GlenNeta Griffin. Their mission is to educate and inspire youth through media arts, including, but not limited to Digital Media, Journalism, Film, Radio and Television. Their focus is to give youth a voice and educate them on how to reach the masses. Services include career consultations, media distribution and private coaching. Some of their many youth programs and workshops include acting, creative writing, developing conversation, an introduction to filmmaking, kidpreneurs, interacting with the police, media careers panels and youth public speakers. They serve youth ages 5-17.
